Fuel-Powered DNA Nanomachines for Biosensing and Cancer Therapy

Abstract:A fuel-powered DNA nanomachine, which serves as a catalytic amplification strategy and smart drug release platform, has attracted widespread attention in biosensing and cancer therapy. It can perform specific tasks with the fueling of exogenous or endogenous stimuli. This Review discusses the design and development of it in bioimaging and cancer therapy. It is hoped that this review will provide guidelines for the design of fuel-powered DNA nanomachines and its application in biological analysis and cancer treatment.
