Dr. Yu obtained his Ph.D. in Developmental Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and finished his post-doctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania. He was employed as a Senior Research Investigator at the University of Pennsylvania/Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia before moving back to China in 2012. Now He is the Director & professor of the Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Experimental & Translational Non-coding RNA Research at the Yangzhou University. He is also a Specially-appointed Professor of Jiangsu Province and has published 50 peer-reviewed research papers mainly focused on the role of non-coding RNAs and nuclear proteins in hematopoietic development and diseases. Recent publications include Oncogene 2018, 37:1293-1307; Haematologica 2018, 103(3):406-416 and FASEB J, 2020, 34:13194-13210.
