Songyin Cao received his Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from the School of Automation, Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2011. From 2012 to 2015, he was a post-doctoral fellow at Beihang University. From 2014 to 2015, he was an academic visitor at Loughborough University, UK. From 2019 to 2020, he was an academic visitor at the University of Manchester, UK. In 2010, he joined the College of Information Engineering, Yangzhou University. Now, he is a professor at Yangzhou University. His current research interests include anti-disturbance control and estimation, fault-tolerant control, inertial navigation system, and fuel cell system control.
