Peng Daxin, Professor，Ph.D Supervisor in Yangzhou University, and Director of Jiangsu Research Centre of Engineering and Technology for Prevention and Control of Poultry Disease. He got his Ph.D degree from Yangzhou University in 2001 with major in Preventive Veterinary Medicine. He worked as postdoc in NIH of USA from 2002 to 2005. He worked on epidemiology investigation, pathogenicity and immune mechanism of animal pathogenic microorganism, and development of new detection technique and vaccines. He serves as a principal investigator for 11 national grants including the China National Key R&D Program during the 13th Five-year Plan Period etc. He is the recipient of six ministerial and provincial awards, and eight innovation patents. He is an author or co-author of more than 160 publications.
