Dr. Jun Wu is a Professor in the school of Environmental Engineering and Science at Yangzhou University. He has over 15 years of modeling experience in a number of water related environmental and engineering applications including activated sludge models, biofilm models and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). His current research interests include physico-chemical processes in water treatment, computational fluid dynamics modeling, water/wastewater process optimization, wastewater sewer collection system sustainability, energy recovery from waste streams, aerobic granular sludge reactor. 

Dr. Jun Wu received his PhD in water engineering from Loughborough University UK and was a visiting professor in the biotechnology department at Delft University (2015) and in the Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Department at North Carolina State University (2017). He is a member of IWA (international water association) and CIWEM (The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management). Dr. Jun Wu has passed the exams (fundamental of engineering and professional engineer exam) for civil engineer licensure in the United States.

Dr. Jun Wu has published more than 40 articles in international peer-reviewed Journals and currently serves as an external referee for more than 20 internationally renowned Journals such as, Water Research，Journal of Membrane Science, Environmental science technology, Bioresource Technology, Desalination, etc.
