Research on the structures and functions of active ingredients of TCM and natural medicine, and the development of  big health products from TCM, specializing in the rapid discovery, targeted separation and structural configuration of natural products with novel structures. The specific directions are as follows:

1- Discovery of active natural products and study on their structures and functions;

2- Discovery and research of important active natural substances (including active components, Chinese medicine component chemistry, active components from  Chinese herbal prescription);

3- Study on chemical system analysis methods of TCM;

4- Discovery of new targets of TCM active ingredients and interpretation of traditional efficacy.
