MORE+Dr. Jun Liu is currently a professor at College of Food Science and Engineering, Yangzhou University (China). He received his Ph.D. degree from Nanjing Agricultural University (China) in 2010. His research interests focus on the development of food packaging materials based on natural and renewable resources, and chemical modification of natural polysaccharides and their applications. He, as the first and/or corresponding author, has published 100 papers in peer-reviewed SCI journals. He is the Highly Cited Researcher in the field of Agricultural Science (Clarivate) from 2022 to 2023. He is the Most Cited Chinese Researcher (Elsevier) in the field of Food Science and Engineering at 2023. He is the Associate Editor of "Packaging Technology and Science", "Quality Assurance and Safety of Crops & Foods" and "Frontiers in Food Science and Technology". He is the Editorial Board Member of "Journal of Renewable Materials".
