先后参加7项国家自然科学基金项目,主持完成国家自然科学青年基金项目,江苏省自然科学基金面上项目,江苏省高校自然科学基金各一项。完成一项军队生物安全研究专项计划。完成多项横项课题。 2013.8-2014.8,国家留学基金委公派,美国德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校 (The University of Texas at Austin),化学工程系,访问学者。2020年获中国科技部-韩国研究财团,2021年中韩青年科学家交流计划。2016年获得江苏省高校科学技术研究成果三等奖,《超分子化合物分子识别与自组装特性研究及其在传感、吸附材料等领域的基础应用》,排名第2。目前已在Adv. Funct. Mater.ACS NanoAdv. Sci.Energy Storage MaterialsApplied Catalysis B; J. Energy Chem.; Chem. Eng. J.,等核心刊物发表论文170余篇,其中第一作者或第一通讯作者发表论文150余篇, H-Index 48。申请发明专利30项,其中已授权专利20项。

2012年获扬州大学“新世纪人才工程”优秀青年骨干教师;2014年获江苏省高校“青蓝工程”优秀青年骨干教师;2014年获扬州大学高端人才支持计划“拔尖人才”计划; 2017年扬州大学中青年教师讲课比赛一等奖;2017、2020年度扬州大学工会积极分子; 2024-2025、2015-2016、2010-2011学年获扬州大学“最受学生欢迎的班主任”称号等。

在电化学研究领域,围绕二次电池负极材料的设计、合成与应用基础研究,研究铁氧化物、金属硫化物、锡基等电极材料的体积效应,通过结构分析,阐明电极材料性能与结构之间的构效关系,进而改善材料结构,为新型电池材料的开发与应用提供理论依据。研究非贵金属催化剂的设计与合成,探究其催化性能与催化反应机理,为寻找催化性能优异的非贵金属材料进行探索。

在超分子化学领域,主要研究超分子主体化合物,如环糊精、杯芳烃、柱芳烃、冠醚等,在各种纳米材料(碳材料、磁性材料、聚合物材料)表面的修饰与组装,构建新型超分子功能化纳米材料,并作为超分子吸附剂和超分子传感器,应用于有机污染物、稀散离子、重金属离子的吸附、分离与富集研究,检测环境中的有机污染物、药物分子、重金属离子。以超分子主体化合物为桥梁,链接贵金属纳米纳米粒子,应用于燃料电池电极材料、催化反应等。
